For my Bachelor movie, I wanted to work on a stop-motion project about OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).
The main character of ‘Room 29’ is a middle-aged man, Valère. Although the movie focusses more on the thoughts and the confused mind of Valère, I always imagined him as a very neat and tighly man who likes his clothes well ironed.
Since it was the first time I worked with stop-motion, it was a challenging but interesting process.
I finished the project in January 2018 and now I’m sending it to festivals. So far, ‘Room 29′ was selected for KLIK festival (Amsterdam) in October 2018. On the 30th of November, it was screened at Cellofan’ – Cour(t)s d’écoles (Lille).
